You’re Invited to the Third Annual
Paint Wickenburg
Saturday March 14th, 2026
Paint Wickenburg is a collaboration between the Desert Caballeros Western Museum & the Wickenburg Art Center. Our goal is to promote The Arts in Wickenburg through the artistic portrayal of our Historic Downtown.
On Saturday, March 14th, we are proud to present the 3rd Annual Paint Wickenburg plein air event, a site-specific and in-person painting event with the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. The designated area to paint in downtown Wickenburg will be from the Hassayampa bridge to Basha's and from there to the train station on Frontier Street. Areas outside the above boundaries may be added at a later date ie: Boyd Ranch, Vulture City.
The event is rain or shine, painting on site and Wickenburg has to be the subject. It's first come, first served for easel locations.
This open-air event is open to all artists, working in 2D media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, ink and mixed media. This artistic celebration is limited to works created onsite that portray the historic Wickenburg cityscape, which can include any of its unique features, architecture, statuary or green spaces.
Registration is $ 35.00 - Registration and payment can be made on the Wickenburg Art Center Website or in person at the Art Center.
