The Wickenburg Art Club and the Sigler Western Museum, cornerstones of Wickenburg’s art community since the 1960s, collaborate for the Annual West of Center show, a community-curated exhibition and sale. Each summer, the museum hosts the Wickenburg Art Club, which curates a selection of artwork by its talented members.
This collaboration, now lasting for more than a decade, was an outgrowth of the community’s interest in promoting art and business in Wickenburg’s historic downtown area and has been a success ever since.
The exhibit features the work of over 30 local artists adept in many different art media, such as painting, ceramics, photography, woodworking, fiber art, jewelry, and more. There is something for every art lover to enjoy. Artists also give free demonstrations during the run of the show.
The public is invited to attend a Preview Reception to view the artwork, vote for their favorite piece for the People’s Choice award, enjoy refreshments, and meet the artists.
The exhibit runs each year from late July through September and is open during the museum’s regular hours.
