Students will create a mosaic on metal hummingbird using thin set and a variety of tesserae (small stones, tile, and glass) provided by the instructor). Tesserae may include Italian and Mexican smalti, beads, millefiori, and other tiles.
The hummingbird measures approximately 12 inches tall x 15 inches wide. Students are invited to bring any piece of jewelry, stone, or other non-organic item they may wish to include in their mosaic
