The three groups met for the first time to kick off the first annual Art Walk, January 11, 2011.

 

The Open-for-Business Art Walk Closing Reception is Wednesday, May 11th at 11:00 am in the Museum Pavilion

I will introduce all the artists and give some information about the Wickenburg Art Club's 2010-2011 season. PLEASE BRING YOUR ARTWORK THAT WAS EXHIBITED FOR THIS LONG EVENT SO IT CAN BE DISPLAYED FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. With some help (please), I can have WAC panels set up early. The Wickenburg Sun will be present to take pictures and do a write-up. If, for some reason, you cannot make this closing event, please let me know and make your own arrangements to have someone deliver and pick up your artwork to the Museum Pavilion on May 11th. REMEMBER, IN ORDER TO TAKE PART IN THIS EVENT, WE ALL COMMITED TO BEING INVOLVED ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THE VERY END. AFTER the Reception, I will personally review with the Chamber whether this is something we should con-tinue doing each year. So PLEASE, GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK very soon as to: 1) Whether you art sold and/or whether it got serious attention; 2) What you liked or disliked about the event; 3) Were you happy with the location; and 4) Did your artwork match well with the business's motif and character? Also, should we do this again? Personally, I sincerely believe it is worth the time and effort!!!
