WHAT IS GOLD RUSH DAYS?GOLD RUSH DAYS is an exciting annual three-day event that has occurred for over 59 years in Wickenburg, Arizona, 30 miles north of the greater Phoenix area. Gold Rush is always held the second full weekend in February--Friday through Sunday. Tens of thousands of visitors and participants descend on the western town to enjoy myriad festivities sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. There is a parade, rodeos, carnival, melodrama, shoot-out re-enactment, special barbeque lunch, and pancake breakfasts among other festivities that draw visitors from all over. On the grounds surrounding the Community Center there is free stage entertainment, mucking and drilling contest, and over 135 Chamber sponsored vendors of tasty foods and all kinds of items.
The Wickenburg Art Club sponsors three major art exhibit and sale opportunities during Gold Rush Days: the JURIED ART AND CRAFT SHOW AND SALE, the FINE ART SHOW AND SALE, and the FINE ART FESTIVAL. Please explore the links below and to the right for more information on these events.

JURIED ART and CRAFT SHOW and SALEFor over 45 of the Gold Rush years, the Wickenburg Art Club has brought artists and fine craftspeople to the Wickenburg Library's lawn to exhibit and sell their creations (the Library is across the street from the Community Center). Professional artists jury prospective exhibitors who hope to rent one of their 145 - 10' x 10' spaces. The Art Club arranges with town managers for free RV “dry camping” and with the Citizen's Patrol to provide night security. One of the Art Club's goals is to stimulate and encourage creative works in the arts. For that reason, the fee for booth space during Gold Rush has been kept at a reasonable price. If you are interested in participating, please read the Artisan Rules and carefully read the criteria for being accepted into the Wickenburg Art Club's Arts and Craft Show and Sale held during Gold Rush.
